MY COMMENTS:
I've painted a Tromp L'Oiel effect to look like a wildlife scene painted on elk hide draped over a piece of stone. This is on a gallery wrapped canvas and the painting is continued aroung all the edges.

My goal was to create a piece that dipicted a world of motion and contrast.

MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:

This is beautiful and you've achieved the trompe l'oeil effect! Everything about this is so well done, the horses, the rocks and the flying snow. Elk hide is gorgeous!

I'd love to see this IRL! I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work!

Well, thank you all very much for the kind review !! Wow, what an international critique, I love it !

Yes, the colors in the painting are quite a bit more vivid and the snow a tad bit more subtil in real life.

It's off to a Western Art Exibit in the morning for the weekend. I hope to generate some interest and somr traffic my way with this. Hope to do more of these in similar style soon. I'll post more then.

Thanks to all again !!
