MY COMMENTS:
This is from a photo sent to me by a friend who took it on his friend's farm.
I"m pretty happy with most of it. The branches on tree on the hill looks a bit too thick to me.

MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
This is small. Do you feel it's interesting enough to work it up to a 16 x 20? Is the 'action' all too centered?

such a great job
soooooooooo small!
agree about the trees...need better distancing
but you could do that much easier
in a larger format
which I think would work wonderfully
the action is not too centered
as the light of the moon reflections
leads the eye around

I am familiar with these scenes...very nice!
(where in Va?)

Agree about the top tree branches.

The interrupted fence works so well in this painting. Certainly worth painting it bigger :wave:

I had a devil of a time trying to photograph this. :::sigh:::: Thanks for your kind words. The ref photo was taken in Grayson County, VA.
