View Full Version : Triumph... (For NoraT)

This is an india ink stipple that I did in 1979.
I did this sketch at work, then later on did it in ink.
I got this from a magazine, although I owned one also.
(It was a 1975 Triumph 750 Trident if anybody remembers them)
This seemed to take me forever to do, the original size is
about 16"x20".
If you look closely you might can see that all of the type in
here is done pretty badly, I hated lettering... I definitely
hurried through it.
Also, I was going to do the whole thing without aid of a ruler
or compass, but partway during this process I decided that I
might should reconsider, 'specially since I was doing such a
poor job of it! I added the kickstand later In Photoshop, it
wasn't in the magazine ad, but sure looked funny without it.
The clarity of this scan isn't very good, but it really is alot
cleaner in real life, as it was about 50% larger than this.

Any comment good or bad welcome...

Thank you for posting this in p&i Randy, I must have missed the forum it was originally in.

Awesome detail ! (Even to the coils, the tires, and the shine on the mirrors).

Are you doing any p&i work currently ?
