I did this as a small b&w sketch a number of years ago and only just got around to painting it in colour. When I came to paint it, I had in mind the Tsunami disaster as well as the Noah story. I was too late with my painting to join in the Tsunami project at WC but I may look for another outlet for it.

This one is 5 by 3 ins, acrylics on watercolour paper. Comments welcomed. :D

Here it is:

Neat! I like the style.

Do you have a favorite brand of acrylics, or do you mix your brands? I ask because your little piece has a nice luminous quality to it.

It's so whimsical and lovely; the scene and characters make me wonder many things. Wish I had more time to gaze... well done! :)

Heya Stump!
This is great! I love the character you've given each of them! I suppose it is too big to qualify as ATC though.

Many thanks for looking & commenting- Fish, Delsol, Cyndi.

Fish, I am moving up to the 'big' size of 5 by 3 now :D :p

Cyndi- I used student quality acrylics on this...a mix of Winsor/Newton Galleria, and Daler-Rowney System 3. One day, I will graduate to artist's quality paints with my acrylics.

Delsol- I'm glad you found it interesting as I was having 'kittens' over it!! :cat:
