Wanted to share some of my inventory for the upcoming Tucson Best Bead Show. Still have one week to really get serious. Maybe Waldo really is in there, somewhere. I'm officially torch punchy. http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/23-Jan-2005/10074-flamethrower.gif

Geeeeeeeeeeez! What a stash! I think that's more glass beads than I've ever seen in one photo before! Oh, how I wish I were that disciplined. Not only are there a lot, but they are all beautiful! I hope you sell each and every one, with folks clamoring for more!

Whoa!!! What a load of beads!!! I don't think you'll have to worry about bringing any home with ya!! Soooo how long does it take you to make inventory for a show? I actually got a couple of pm's after I had said something about doing the Bead Bazzar one of these years, saying I should do it!!

   Hi Lauri. Can't wait to see (and fondle) all of them!

It looks like me and Matt are the only fruit loops from Omaha coming to Tucson. We tried talking Cindy and Sandy into coming but they're being party poopers. Actually, Cindy's daughter is going to be having a baby any day now so she wants to be here. And Sandy is redoing alot of her house and doesn't want to leave in the middle of it.

Good luck!!!

Wishes for great success in Tucson - those beads are so beautiful they will fly out the door!

If you are going to Tucson you should get to Laurie's booth as fast as you can because she sells out!!!! If you think those beads are pretty in the photo it's nothing compared to how they look in person!!! She really gets some great colors out of boro.

Lookng good Laurie! Can't wait to see you at the show.

Aimee, Bindy, Sarah, see you soon!

Anne, I can't really give you a good answer to your question. My work schedule is something like this...sit down to torch at 6:00 pm any given day. Work through the night into the next morning until my eyes don't focus. This usually adds up to 14-16 hours at the torch. Collapse for 12 hours. Clean and string beads for several hours and drool for awhile. Lather, rinse, repeat. Not the best use of my time, but this somehow works for me. I think I need a nap. http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/25-Jan-2005/10074-eyesrollingaround.gif

Looks amazing, Lauri!
I love the little 'extras' you always add to your beadsets.
Also, just read in Lapidary Journal that you are teaching at Beadfest this year.
Rock on!
