Hey, guys- I've been browsing, enjoying all the great work, thought I'd post a drawing. This one's called 'The Silver Sparrow's Song'. Ink, Graphite, Charcoal on Bristol; 1 3/4" x 2 1/8". Inked elements- The foreground, wall, and trees- were stippled with Sakura Pigma Micron .005 pens, and toned with graphite pencils; the background was begun with a light rubbing of powdered charcoal, then developed with graphite pencils and kneaded erasers. Don't have a shot of the framed piece- White mat, approximately 3" borders, matte black aluminum frame. Framed size is around 8" x 9".

Thanks for posting this Mark - it's tiny with such an incredible amount of detail and superb control of the medium.
I've just had a quick look at you website - now I'll put my drawing implements away - sheesh! :wink2:  :D

I love your work. Such patience - wow... they do resemble photographs, but as you come closer you can see the detail your hand has brought to it. Very impressive!

Mark, this is awsome. I have a thing for fine details in b&w. I used to shoot lots of film and develop and print in my laundry darkroom. That was ions ago.

Excellent work.
