I normally post my work in the landscape fourm, when I post it at all, but maybe it rightfully is better described as abstracted landscape. That's the reception I have been getting to it when I show it to more traditional painters. So, here's my most recent, followed by a couple of detail shots: St. Simon's Marshscape, 30x24", oil on canvas. C & C welcome and appreciated.

thank you for sharing these. I can see them in both forums. What wonderful colors and shapes. Very nice IMHO.

I love the details of the strokes; and especially the movement the longer grass seems to depict in this. The palette is lovely.

nice and strong
good size to make an impact
bit short in the tonal range
can't find clear focal point(s)

you don't have to be abstract to post here, hope to see lots more from you

the closeup is awesome, such wonderful use of layering

and the paint handling, yum!
