GENERAL INFORMATION:
Title: O/GHB Plein Aire -- View From the Campsite
Year Created: 2004
Medium: Oil
Surface: Other
Dimension: 16x20
Allow digital alterations?: No, please :)

MY COMMENTS:
The surface is gessoed 1/4 hardboard. W/N & Gamblin & Grums colors. Painted over a period of 3-4 days -- when it wasn't overcast during rain.

It didn't come out as expected but many are liking it.

MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
Anything is welcomed. What do you like/dislike, etc., etc., you know the routine.

It's much too blurry to crit - seems all the things we like are in the trees - so I cannot give an honest opinion of your technique. I think it is too centered in the middle of the canvas - the water is not as inviting as what's happening in the treeline. Think you need something in the foreground to pull us in.

I do like the sky - the way you have brpken it up into two tones - as if the overcast grey is clearing a blue sky.

Again - I think it is too, as I call - sandwiched. Like an oreo cookie in reverse.
