Wow! It's not often I get to start a show and tell. I think I only did it once before!

Not much to tell with these. I am sure everybody knows what they are :D

Charlene, yes I know what they are - but they are lovely, nevertheless! The shaping is so consistent and beautiful.

Here are some of mine. Copper green base with Blue Heeler's Rose Petal frit:

Charlene - that's still one of my favorite color combos. Just always looks classy.

MaryBeth - I love the reactions between those colors

You can't tell from the picture, but this has a wonderful butterfly wing type shimmer. I just can't seem to capture it in the photo. Uroboros, silver leaf and frit, frit, frit :)

Great beads ladies!! These beads are cooler in person. Made on a base of peach transparent, cranbery pink frit, flowers on top, etched. The look kind of translucent. Do they look yucky?...and please don't say they look good just to be nice. I'm asking for an honest answer here. I think they look pretty in person, but they may not look good on the printed page. Or maybe they are yucky in person too :)

Harriet, I'm not normally a "pink" lover, but I guarantee you, those beads are definitely not yucky! I like them!

Mary Beth thanks for the kind words. Now your beads...those are TDF!

Toni even without being able to see the iridescence I think that is an outstanding bead! It looks just like a stream of sparkly water going around a bend!

Harriet I really love those. The blossoms positively JUMP off the base color!

hehe...that's the first thing I saw too. I've been calling it my "mystic river" bead. Thanks!

If this is the bead I *think* it is - *I've* seen it in person... and let me tell you folks... This bead is AMAZING in person!!!!

The picture; however, is good, the bead.... it is just amazing.

Nice job Toni - keep it up!!!

Charlene - yes, a real classic (classy) color combo. Great!
MaryBeth - like a mosaic reminding of an impressionistic painting
Toni - Gorgeous
Harriet - They are pretty! I love these being etched.
Paulette - I need this couple right here on my desk for a closer inspection.

And here is our set. I love this turquoise background.
The whole theme reminds me of Japanese tapestry I saw once in a while.

So my husband got a new camera for his birthday (a month early, because he wanted to take pictures of his painted miniature figurines) and I get spillover goodness of upgrading from a five year old 1 megapixel camera to a 5 megapixel with SuperMacro Mode. Sounds like a comicbook hero, huh? SuperMacro Mode here to save your pictures from looking like $%&@! *grins* So, since I now can have cool pics (when DH deigns to take them, and load them onto my machine) I can now stop lurking so much. Now if only there was a SuperGetMeTorchTimeMan . . . .

Blue green trans swirls over white, squished to within an inch of its life and puffed back out a little. Brown and dark ivory swirled with coral dots - I was thinking I picked up the pinky one I have (a customer asked for brown and pink), but it was the orangey one.

The bunny wedding is soooo cute, and I love drooling over Deb's beautiful flowers!

I finally made some hearts for Valentine's. Not much in a Valentine mood. Be carefull what you wish for. I wanted more time to torch. No job, lots of time to torch! Anyway I'm enjoying my time at home. Second set in intense black and light turquoise over ivory tabs. They kind of remind me of bamboo.

I know Lauscha makes a peach transparent. I have some but haven't played with it yet. I have a problem with buying glass that I think I need and then not using it for a long time.

Thank you for the info, Aimee!

I ordered some Lauscha a couple weeks ago, should've ordered a peach transparent too! I hate spending $$ for the shipping but would love to have this color :wink2:

This is a bead I made with Lauscha Pink and Iceberg, that I posted yesterday at Tech forum. Don't you think it's so yummy?
