This is my humble rendition of a Galapagos shark. I was fortunate enough to visit the Galapagos Islands when I was in college. Saw a Galapagos shark while snorkeling with the seals and immediately got back into the boat. LOL!!
Hope you enjoy it.

Very nice! I just did a watercolour of a shark, but it is nowhere near this good.

Way too cool Laura. I like the angle you have
used to capture your model. Great colors.

Thanks Cristie and Manooch. You should see the water there. It's so unbelievably clear. Wish there was a color to catch that "EXACT" hue. Clear and Cool Ocean . . . *sigh*
Christie . . . I'd love to see your watercolor! Is it in the Watercolor forum?
Warmest,
Laura

Good Lord no! It was awful! I took a watercolour glazing class a couple of weeks ago and was just experimenting. If I find the time, I will try again and see if it is postable. :p
I agree that capturing the water colour of tropical areas is difficult. At least you have been there, I just have pictures! I'm real good at snow though~:D

Laura, I like this a lot.
Very minimal, but the strong colours just take over.
I have scuba dived with sharks, and you have caught the menace there.
