busy place this forum. I have been working in 3 X 5 sizes mostly, but found a couple of frames at the resale shop...50 cents each and they had a had a half price sale going on, so they were only a quarter each. Then I went to a local frame shop and asked if they had any scrap matboard they would like to get rid of. She gave me enough pieces to keep me busy for a year! I like working on matboard as there is no texture to deal with. I painted these two together - on one of the pieces and then cut them apart when they were finished. Took about an hour total. 2 1/4 x 3 1/4. Such fun!

I really like the colors you used here.

What a great find on frames. (I have to get some frames)

Marge:
Nice work and use of color in these two!! Mini frames seem to be tough to find at a decent price! 25 cents each was a real good buy!

These are lovely Marge. I like your use of colour and texture. The Waterfall is particularly beautiful.

Mini frames are not easy to find in my part of the world, but then again, I do live in a country town, so will have to make a trip to the city.
You scored a great bargain :) :)
