Hey everybody,

I hope I'm doing this the right way, since this is my first time posting on wet canvas. I stumbled on some lampwork beads on ebay by accident a little over a month ago, and am hooked ever since. I'm from the Netherlands, and I have searched every corner of the country for a glass-supplier, but no such luck. Then I searched more, and more ( and have seen the most wonderfull beads pass my screen ... how agonizing since I coul'd make them myself) and finaly ended up in Germany, where I found a lovely lady named Audrey Otterbein, and she helped me get started on making beads. I ordered a HUGE load of glass, burner, and some books and had to wait for about a week.

Finaly the mailman came by with my precious order, and I got started. What a thrill!! I became a bead-junk! Can't live without my torch and glass anymore...I should have done this years before!

I got started last wednesday, and Iwant to show you all my first bracelets. I have to say I'm really proud of them, and hope you'll like 'em.

love, suzanne aka sterrekind ( starchild, the name of my beautifull daughter)

Hi Suzanne and welcome!

There is an excellent glass supplier in Tilburg. Their exact business name escapes me at the moment but hopefully Jacinthe will see this post and help you out.
Jan-Hein and Margriet who runs the glass shop are really nice and I'm sure you'll like having supplies closer than Germany. Which is where I buy my stuff... Not the same place as you, I get mine from GlasDesign in Hamburg.

That's exactly the same adress Jacinthe gave me a few days after I ordered all my supplies in Germany. I ordered new rubino oro at their shop thursday, and was using a day later, great people!

Lovely! I was in Holland 2 years ago. We stayed in Haarlem & Amsterdam. I'm 1/2 Dutch and have always wanted to go there, so my husband surprised me with a trip and then proposed to me in a windmill in Kinderdike (sp)?

You'll love WC!
