View Full Version : Portrait #2

My 2nd watercolor pencil portrait. I had it posted in the Watercolor Forum and everyone pretty much told me to just touch up the right eye and leave it. thought I would post here and get some more opinions.
This is a portrait I'm working on of my 4 year-old daughter. I'm doing this very slowly -- am I right in trying to avoid overworking or making her face too dark? I mean, should I quit the face et al and work on bringing up the darks to accentuate? Children's faces should be delicate and light sorta?

It's watercolor pencil and that blue-blotchy thing near our right side of her helmet is a spot I have to fix http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif

Bah, any advice wanted http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif

Very beautiful Roan! Lovely clear colors are perfect for a child's complexion.
