Kathy!! What cool beads....... if you hadn't said you burned the white and ivory, I'd have thought it was on purpose - looks organic. Keep up the great work!

Base of black, ummm, pink and violet twistie, plus some coral:

Well, what nice beads for your second day of lampworking!! How exciting to be just beginning your lampworking experience. I've only been lampworking for 6 months and love every minute of it. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.... Keep it up and hope to see more beads from you soon!

George! Where have you been? You've been missed, friend!

Nice work everyone. I have some stuff done, but won't get around to photos until later today. I gotta stop doing this work that needs multiple firings. I just don't have the attention span for it. LOL!

Way to go Kathy!! You're so brave... I was too chicken to show anybody my beads when I first started. <cluck!> But you look like you're doing real good... and your beads have a good shape already too! This is such a fun time... starting off. Full of frustration, anticipation, joy, and lots of "Eureka!" moments! ENJOY!

Teri, Lorraine, Ginny... your beads are wonderful! Just the inspiration I look forward to seeing in these show & tells! I also loved the shape on your bead Beadinpath! I suck at shaping so far.

Tom, Jeff, George... LOVE your work! Tom... we've GOT to get you and Jeff into our lampworking guild. Our next meeting is in January. Are you guys at all interested in that sort of thing?

Here's mine... I love the beads in this watch... the frits on the copper green really make it look like some sort of stone. (I know the background is bluish looking... I think I had the camera set to the wrong lighting. Don't learning curves suck?)

Lovely beads today.

I have a small leaf bead today. I guess I'm waiting for spring and the new leaves to come.

Great work everyone  I'm keep on playing with leaves and abstract blobs of glass. Im working with northstar's garnet....it's my birthstone. I've mixed it with something that has given it a sponge coral look so I added some sponge coral, some twisted sterling silver wire for vines with the leaves, some swarvorski, why? who knows, maybe its because I love the lime green with the sponge coral. Im a fiddler and just love playing with the glass, the design...the components and I'm and wild woman.

Beautiful Work you guys!!! thanks for sharing.
Here is a set of lozenge....suggested colors by Catharine Weaver "fireddesires"....here ya go Catt...of course I put a color under the rubino...to give more depth...and was to lazy to pull greenery stringer since I had copper green....so this is one version...I have another in my mind...but this one turned out pretty cool. The other set is a set of Dan's twisty beads...twisted and encased.
Have a great day all!

Hi all,
Beautiful things today on s&t. I really like the copper green with frit bracelet. Here is another aromatherapy bottle. I can't quit making them. Ordered more hollow mandrels as I only have one, but they are on backorder until next week sniff.....sniff.

:D :D

Hi, a great jobs today.
George, I fascinate its second marble, seems a star to verge of exploding.
Lara, his bead of the leaf is very beautiful.
Ginny, a frog with eyes very tier .
Koregon, I admire his jobs, are beautiful.
Jayne, its perfume bottle is sensational, that combination of colors and forms, seems removed from the bottom of the ocean.

Here's mine for the day. I've actually been holding on to these for awhile since I knew I wouldn't have anything to put up on ebay while we are in the process of moving. We're almost done and I actually got in a couple hours of torch time the other day. It's sure hard to get used to sitting instead of standing since the workbench in our new house is so much lower. So until we build a glass studio someday, I'll have to adjust. Anyway, these were made before the move using Moretti dark and light transparent amethyst, opaque uranium yellow and violet, Vetrofond clear and Lausha transparent green and opaque sage green.

I am the new proud owner of the FROGGY HEART!

The cute froggy is MINE!!!

I just purchased that frog heart. OMG it is so beautiful. I am so happy.

I have only been lampworking off and on now for 6 months. I have only made one heart before which turned out ok. I made it into a necklace for my daughter. This frog heart I will wear... YEAH. This piece I will use to inspire myself to get better and be more creative. One day I will make a frog. :D

Thanks Cheryl for the email...I would have never known that bead was for sale on her website.

Thanks

Donna
