Now that I have found the correct place to discuss, i am putting a sketch drawn sometime back for any comments.
The sketch is a pencil sketch and I am making a transition to painting with pastels. Just wanted to have some comments from the experts about this.
I have some more on http://www.krysos.com/sketches/ if you are interested.

Hey Sat! I'm no expert (though there ARE some here!) but I just wanted to say HI! - and that I remember this drawing from several months ago when you first posted it. It's STILL remarkable (and graceful and calming)!
Good luck with the juried show!

you crop too tightly on your portraits. give them some room to breathe. give them a sense of place.....{M}

You have a fabulous handle on proportion! This angle of the face is NOT easy to capture correctly. I think as far as composition, it can go either way.. either the close up or more space. Personally, I like it just as it is.
As to shading.. I am a perfectionist when it comes to blending skin tones....so that is the angle I come from... smoothing out the blending around the jaw line with a more dinstinct reflective light area right at the edge would be my suggestion. Hair tone is FABULOUS also.. it is so hard to get smooth AND dark when it comes to graphite pencils! And the overall feel of the portrait is very sensual and quiet... I am going to your website now to view your other work.

I wanted to add some more now that i have visited your website. You also seem to have a solid handle on light and defining its source in your drawings. Again, because I am meticulous about blending skin tones, I would say that if you added a reflected light line at the jaw line of your other girl portrait (with all the bracelets on her wrists) and smooth out the tones more
Also, at the neckline, the neck and hair get lost and confused.. it appears there is a large beaded necklace there but it is muddled in with the neck and hair and hard to distinguish
Your facial expressions though are so right on. YOu TRULY bring out the personality and feel of the subject! NOT an easy thing to do! The technical stuff just takes practice, getting the "essence" is the hardest part and you already have that down pat!
I would like to suggest a book by Lee Hammond called "How do draw lifelike portraits from photographs". Even if you draw live, this book gives EXCELLENT advice on blending and making transitions smooth and clear.
Keep up the great work!
