...add a lens to them.
Cane size 5” long. 7/16” just below the lens. The lens is 5/8”. The cane was produced for the DVC 2002 PCA (http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=50578&pp=15&page=1) collaborative paperweight project. I am not sure how many of the paperweights had this cane in them. I was looking through my small pile of canes and came across this end of pull cane and decided to add a lens to it for better viewing. The close pack cane was bundled with cane I made at the torch, murrine and milli canes. There is a rooster, a certain leaf for smoking and a ME01 date cane. The rest are milli canes. There is a spider in one milli cane and a fly in another.

Wow Mike, that looks really neat. The technical side of things go way over my head I'm afraid, but I certainly enjoyed looking at it!

Awsome Mike!

That looks like it might be a dolphin above the roosters head.
Nice pics too.

No dolphin, it was a face cane but it is a bit petered out because it is near the end of the pull.

Sorry about the bump... I have been looking for this particular paperweight, and well, here is the link; "Lot 307" "Paperweight for the Delaware Valley PCA" (http://www.lhselmanltd.com/auc29/65.html) What I also discovered when I looked at it again was that the close pack cane I made is included in this weight, just above the cool mask. This weight sold for $1250.00
