About fell off my chair when I saw Darrell's "Melissa" so I thought I'd try a graphite of my son when he was 5. Didn't quite capture the impishness of the photo but at least it looks like him (so glad he has straight hair http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif). This is 11x14 plate-finish bristol. Comments please, this is my first try, I'm usually drawing horses and dogs.

I find "crop" nowhere LOL. Don't know if my program will do that.

This is a great drawing http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
The only thing wrong which I can see is the placement of it within the support needs adjustment, just a quick crop to centralise it more.

Wow, very nicely done for a first portrait. My first one was lousy.

Don't worry, its gonna be all right....
