I haven't posted a game in a while and this one is really a game with a selfish motive. You see, I am having naming block -- all I can think of when I look at this set is swamp muck....not a very flattering image or set name to be sure. Help? You suggest your best names for this set. The name I choose wins the bead (I'll surprise you). I'll leave this contest open until Friday at noon Eastern time. Enter as often as you like until it closes.

here's the swamp muck...

For some reason I cant get the pictures to enlarge when I click on them, so I could not get a really good look at them.

1) Sherwood Forest
2) Crocodile Rock - fourth picture sort of reminds me of that
3) Meadowbrook Heights
4) Jungle Run
5) Exotica
6) Green with envy

Just SOME that came to mind

Personally, I find the name of "Swamp Muck" to be quite charming and have no clue why you would be taking issue with your first reaction.... I, too - cannot see the beadies in question, but let's just say you did go with your first impression..... And let's just say, I am a'scrolling merrily down the listings, wading through the thousands of names...

Why "SWAMP MUCK" would just pop right on out at me, make me curious and I would be forced to look!
But then again.............I named some of my beads after body fluids, so perhaps you should listen to the others???

Sheryll, you goofy gal, I want them to SELL, why else would a name matter! Only very *special* folks can get away with names like swamp muck (hehe).

Exactly what they bring to my mind is a cool shady forest, with a secret sunny clearing...the sunlight sparkling in through the branches. So....
-Dappled Glen
-Secret forest
-Enchanted Glade
-Sunlight and Shadows
-Dawn in the Forest
-Afternoon Retreat
-Blissful Retreat
-Shady Nook
-End of the Lane
-Bayou Beautiful
-Deepwoods Debutantes
-Backwoods Belle's
-Hidden Glen of My Secret Dreams
-Sleepy Hollows ( but then, that may give the impression that THEY are hollow!)
Hope that these at least spark a new name in YOUR mind Bethany! I love them, they have such organic, earthy appeal....rather than naming them, my address is, P.O. Box....... :D

Great names and wonderful beads! At the risk of having a different opinion, I think maybe the reason you don't like the set and are having trouble naming them is because you have two sets here. The linear dotted set (look like King's rings (they'd go great on those bead rings) and the earthy set (more of an Indiana [or Michigan] Jones Temple set). Although each is a great set, they don't necessarily go together, IMHO and detract from the other. Don't shoot me.

hi coming out of lukedom to enter this

beautiful beads, and there is only one name I can think of

Teton Summer

Reminded me of my summer camping trips in the Teton mountains, the green of the cool shady forests, the ivory colors of the limestone rocks, and the turqouise of the sky just before the stars come out, just after sunset.

Ahhhhh...I miss my mountains.

Good luck everyone! Happy Holidays!

I don't think muck at all when I look at those beads. They remind me of pictures from along the sea floor. Plants and rocks, little fish and crustaceans and shells and such.

Therefore, my recommendation is:

Yeah, that's all I got.

Hi, usually I just brouse, but thought I'd take a stab at this. Pretty beads, remind me of the swamps and everglades of Fa, dark and mysterious, mossy. They also have a sort of Indianish look to some of them, so my guess is

Siminole Wind or just Siminole
Everglades or Fa. Everglades
Swannee River or Swannee

Swamp Mist
Misty River
Mossy Oaks

Turtle cove. The turquoise and greens and the patterns and the shapes just all make me think of some beach scene where aquatic plants are swaying in the currents and washing up on shore, where wonderful, wise looking turtles are returning to their familiar beaches to leave eggs...
