Wow, what a great site--now if I can only find my way around!!My computer, has been out of the box 4wks, and the scanner--well I've not yet learned to use it---so, it will be a while before I can post any work-I work in oils watecolor and pencil--to be able to talk with so many other artist is just GREAT!!I'am trying to bring more life to my skin tones on the face--I seem to loss it on the face--body tones are fresh, loss, and alive--but the face-gets flat and dull!!Help is needed!!When I read how others do it --seems easy!!!Then--when I'am in front of that canvas and all's going well--the THE FACE---the likness is there, in my basic drawing it is keeping the life in the color Help ---Cass

Welcome to Wet Canvas Cass. You'll certainly get a lot of help here. I have.
Suggest you post in New User as well, if you haven't already.

if the flesh on the other areas is looking as you want it to..what are you doing differently on the face??.are you blending??..or mixing the color on the canvas?? it is a tough question especially with no image to look at..get your scanner going!!
