Yep--it's been at least 6 months since I tried a new color--getting itchy to add another blue. I have Cerulean, Ultramarine Deep, and Pthalo. Wanna make any suggestions for another?

"Asphaltum" by either Rembrandt or Gamblin paints. It is a great warm brown.

Robert Doaks makes some very good blues. His cobalt blue is dynamic and is the best i have seen. Some others like trans-oxide blue, algers blue, smalt blue, egyptian blue, wellington blue, fra angelico blue. The lapis boys in Colorado make a true lapis blue, expensive though.

Thanks guys! Leo, I have a few tubes of Robert Doaks and will probably get them from him but his "catalog" is b & w so your chart really is helpful. Appreciate it.
"Asphaltum" reminds me of the new Corian colors (I'm a professional kitchen designer). They now have colors like "gravel" and "macadam". Not that it really matters what the color name is--if it looks wonderful, it looks wonderful! So I'll give it a try. Thanks, V.
