Hi all,
I just recieved my copy of the January issue of American Artist, which has my article on portrait painting. Subscribers are receiving theirs as I write. The magazine will hit the news stands in early December.
I added discussion about the article with supersized images to enhance artists' views of the techniques:

This is not just about portraits -- there is a little mention of figure painting, and the techniques I use in portraiture are quite similar to those that I use in the figure.
