i like this way of your painting while not painting :p
& crowns & cloaks poke me every time

truth is truth
feelings are true
thoughts can be argued about
feelings keep us in the present moment
where infinite possibilities exist
thoughts keep us stuck in the past
emotions influence us more than thoughts
the ability to feel another's emotions
is the essence of compassion
long live empaths :music:

ps..... circus felt a little, um, quikfinish ?
like when black board hussles & bussles mr squiggle
"hurry up hurry up hurry up" shrug, i just got that feeling, thats all

Heart rendering, EJ. Don't know who wouldn't be able to relate to this on a personal level. I love the effect of charcoal and gesso -- I remember Aurora's. I'm somewhat torn by the bottom portion of tear...but then again in another apect of balance/design it works. That's an either/or one.

The placement is exquisite.

Love the tilt of the head....the direction of the gaze

your paintings always give me the feeling that I am just getting a brief glimpse of the whole story.....I love the narrative quality of your work!

.....also your web site rocks! :)
