The Madonna haunts me. I wonder whether to leave the yellow or soften it.
48x60, two years old.

The orange relief painting is done with acrylic and molding paste using brushes, hands, fingers, etc. Like it or not, it was a wonderful experience creating it. More people should try using their hands and fingers to paint.

I rather like the acidic yellow contrasted with the wine red. I like this painting.

The finger-painting is a lovely colour and sensuous. I think I'd like to give that technique a go.

Some of my own favorite paintings required excessive use of fingers. They are both very nice works.

I like the orange one, too. Striking.

I really like the second piece, I feel it to be very moving, but the first one, I do not like, I do not get any feeling from the image, maybe it is the green, or the composition. Anyhow, the second painting is excellent and I agree with the use of hands in the process.
