Hello,
I'm usually in the Plein air forum, but thought you guys might have some info on this question. I have always turned one of my paintings into a Christmas card or Christmas postcard. I have printed them off my own printer, had them printed locally, and ordered on line for the first time last year.
That experience was good and extremely convenient. ( I really don't want to deal with getting quotes and dropping off/picking up from local print shops during the holidays)
Do any of you recommend an online custom postcard printer?
I am looking for 4/1, glossy stock (nothing special) 250-500 cards, upload from my PC and PDF proof return, QUICK PRODUCTION, and Quick shipping option.
I'm looking at Vista Print, but wonder if I'm missing any I can't find on Google.
Thanks for the help,
Jon

Jon -

Thanks for posting your question in our little forum. Unfortunately, I can't answer you're question as I've never ordered cards online. And the forum seems to be quite slow right now, I think most folks are busy with the holidays and such.

I hate to direct you out of the Illustration Forum (as we can use all the posters we can get ;) ) but you might have better luck getting answers in either the business forum or even the cafe.

I've used both of these printers before. Quality is good on both, but prices differ. Check them out.

Jon,

As with all things online, if you want to know how good they are, ask for samples. It is always good to check out their work before you even place the first order. Directing you to any one online print company would not help you until you have seen their work, checked our their turn around time, plus come to terms with their prices.

After you have done that, then you may find out if you would like to do business with an online print company.

I hope that helps.
