very powerful piece
A lot of times working with layers of transparency and translucence can be tricky. It's often easy for the wErk to come off looking kind of immature. Not the case here. You created a very, strong, penetrating piece of contemporary art with the gentlest of layers.

Strong layer technique and colorwork. Great expression.

not a criticism just thought you might be interested
lunatic comes from the word lunar - of or relating to the moon
solar normal right rational sane daylight sun male day overt
lunar abnormal wrong irrational/emotional insane moon female night hidden
not my ideas but cultural connotations

very moving work,
full of color feeling and talent.
you use color and layers and yet you do
not end up with "muddy" color.
