WOW ! This portrait is lovely ! I really love everything about it: use of colour, value and her pose. She seems so sweet. Wonder what she's thinking of or what she's watching ?

Rieko - oooh, Mauritius! Hello hello! :wave: Once had very strong connections to Mauritius... lived for 2 x 2.5 months in Beau Bassin, and with family in Port Louis and Vacoas... almost moved there at one point. Mmmh... gateau piment, dholl purri (SP?), samousa... lots to paint there, too!

Beautiful, very beautiful ... super work on the satin dress. I always hesitate to speak out my mind on this classical technique but I miss some life and light in her hair ... am I nit picking ?
