Good shaped painting. Very sellable.
The lady on the left is like the soprano in a tenor trio. Nice conducting Debbi!

My highest accolade is: "I'd hang this on my wall."
Let's just say...
I'd find room for this. :)

Another winner, Miss Debbi C. I would like to see some details though if possible. Love the closeness of the couple and tenderness of the kiss, the green outline is perfect - lovely aura of energy spirit...the totems and symbols are indicative of a long lost prophecy...great imagination and execution.

Very interesting. I see a red woman on the left kissing a transparent woman in the middle and that is not all the red woman seems to be doing to the transparent woman. The three faces on the "totem" are ancient traditions and they are simply mortified by this and yet they are unable to impose their own standards upon the other women (being trapped in a totem pole heheheheh) and that ticks them off as well. They can merely watch.
Just my take on it. Of course, I could be totally wrong! :D hehehhe
Very inventive, insightful, colorful and visually interesting if you ask me.
P.S. after looking again, I think I was wrong. The red is a man. Sorry. hehehehhehehe Still very nice!

i was going through and reading each of your comments...i went from smiles...to laughs...to talking to myself. you're really a great bunch and i'm happy to call this my hang out spot.
hotpavement: thank you much!
Mountain song: you think? so there are some shapes that are more sellable than others?
Deb: you made me blush (although it probably didn't show).
Debimari: I kind of go a little crazy with colours...glad you like them.
Miss Tam Tam: I just love your encouragement...it really does help to keep me going. you always make my paintings sound so beautiful. I am going to try and get you a close up ;) i'll go home and take one and upload it tomorrow when i come to school.
Tim: I outright was laughing to myself in here...really loudly...when i read your humorous message. just the way you said this: "P.S. after looking again, I think I was wrong. The red is a man. Sorry. hehehehhehehe Still very nice!" Your descriptive interpretation and kind words were much appreciated.
Larry: Glad you like! I sure hope this isn't the ONLY sellable one i have thus far...i have a show coming up next week Friday. Much more painting left to do!
Roger: Nice to see you Roger! long time i feel like. it has gold leaf on it already...the masks. the masks are 3D too.

Yes, some shapes are more sellable than others. 24 by 48 is a great size and shape- it psychologically has a good feel, balanced in and of it's self -even before the paint is applied. :)
:o 'Can't believe I missed the love scene! :o
