Wow Anne this is very nice.
The signs in the window and the general light in this urbanscape is well done.
I also like the dark area on the right. NYC is like that, even in daylight, the building creating "dark areas" like that. well done.
I will be in fact in NYC in two weeks for an opening . YEAH !

A riot of wonderful colour.
You've painted my favorite city in the world very well.
You've well conveyed the busy neon hectic-ness.

Dhout: Will you be exihibiting your work in NYC? If so, I'd love to see it live, if you'd like, PM me with the gallery/exhibit info so I can check it out.
Mikey and Gilberte, thanks so much!
Caroline: NY is my favorite city too, no matter how often I am there I never get tired of it and I always "discover" something new. :)

good portrayal of an instant scene. palette is a touch extreme feeling, but contrasts on light good. Busy forms walking, moving, or doing whatever are indeed moving. Some of hard color areas are sharing same color while background and stone/crete forms are very broad in hue and tone.

Fun Lively, all in all a very enjoyable piece.
Would like to see the police cruiser a little looser, more like the taxi.

Anne the addition of that orange/yellow was perfect and added the warmth of life amid the cool of scheduled structure. Well done indeed.
