A new project has been announced in the WetCanvas! project system!

Title: KIDS AND THEIR PETS
Project Leader: CRYROLFE
Relative Difficulty: Easy
Type Restrictions: Any Type
Medium: Any Medium
Subject: Not Applicable
Days open for signups: Always
Maximum participants allowed: Unlimited

Description:

This project will deal with children and their pets.
Remember when you or your child held their pet for the first time? The pure joy they both felt?
Try to capture the bonding of the two in your work.

1. The reference photos are there for you to use but feel free to create your own from a photo or from memory.
2. One child and one animal per entry.
3. Be creative ..... use any medium you like!

Not a problem! I couldn't find too many, and for some reason...I could only put up 3 reference pics.

Frethound's pics are great!!! Love the expression on these kid's faces!!!!! And the dog too!!!

Reference pics are wonderful too.

I haven't signed up for a prject for a while but I really like this one, I have been painting animals for a while and just recently graviitating to painting children as I have a one year old.

looking forward to more!

I'm just crazy about kids and their pets, so I signed up and had already won in a recent art show with just such a painting and put it in as an entry. This is such a fun project. The submitted photos are so cute!!

Thanks to you, Artcrazy, for your comment. The reference photo was taken at an local county fair, with the girl posing beside the cage of her 4-H project, a rabbit. I could tell by the way she held the bunny, she really loved her rabbit.
