I've just come over from "the Darkroom" in Photography section.

Yesterday my paint shop pro 9 software arrived and I see that I now have an Art Media Tool.

Can anybody please direct me to digital paintings created using this software on this forum or links to using this software tool.

Welcome to Wet Canvas

For years people have been painting with PSP using the brushes that were already there plus thieir own custom brushes, this year the new Art Materials brushes were added and work done using them is just starting to appear.

If you do a Google for PSP you will find a plethora of tutorials and forums for the program.

and

http://www.pluspsp.com/cgi-bin/mb/psp1.cgi

Are a couple of good places to start.

Also look for Fugitive, and Just Jean's work here on WC they use PSP for much of their work, there are others but I can't think of thier names at the momment.

EdieElvira, thank you for noticing. I do use them a lot, and have stuff all over the place where AM is used, too many to find or name, but..........http://gregsplace.50megs.com, has a new one.
Here's an unfinished sample; the headdress is the chalk tool, face oil, but highly smudged, collar and top, chalk or pastel. Chalk just has softer edges.

Your portrait above certainly creates the effect of light source and shadow, I cannot spell the technical term that painters use but you have succeeded.
