HA! I win! LOL You know there is something "off" with you when you sit at your computer waiting for midnight so you can be first for show and tell! LOL Almost like being in elementary school again and wanting to go first for s&t. Except now the items are MUCH MUCH Cooler! LOL

This set was/is a hard set to picture! I am still taking more pictures cause I am not happy with this one. They are Med blue trans with dark turq stringer swirls, squashed with my new Corina tool! then dipped in hi violet pixie dust. So you see a shimmer of purple on the beads. they are sooooo cool!

Happy posting!

WOW! Amaya, those are probably one of the most beautiful sets ever! And girl, I got some major bead porn in my files! They are first rate!

Juliet, you got musical stringer control! Very clever...my sis is a music teacher and would love those.

I am plain plain plain lately....nothing but squares. But I'm still having fun!

Beautiful colors Amaya...and Juliet, you have been a busy gal...great beads ! I am rationing my gaffer cane...I just love the transparent pink, and I like the look of the raku frit on the surface. Difficult to photograph though.
Harriet
Nancy..we must have been posting at the same time. I don't think your beads are plain..they're very pretty !!!

I'm into rings right now - its what I seem to sell most of lately. The bead is kind of a wonky - I have a better one in the kiln. The faceted stone is a pink Rhodolite Garnet, the bezel is 14k gold.

Amaya they are drop dead gorgeous!

Juliet stunning Music Notes sets!

Nancy scrumptious color on those squares!

Harriet your transparent pink & raku set has my mouth watering...I just want to lick them to see if they taste as good as they look :wink2:

Catt66 that's a very eye catching ring!

More Lentils of course :p

Here are some of my recents ... lol ... actually I've been on a real heart kick so I'll post those sometime soon too.

I've been trying to use up some of my beads in finished items - rather than just piles of beads lying around - well they all hang from hooks in the window. I really need to be selling some of them but ...

Amaya, great job with that violet pixie dust! The violet always is a bit tricky for me, but you did a super job getting it nice and even!!!

Here's my contribution for today....black, goldstone, anise white, and gold iris reduction dots.

OMG....when I grow up someday, I want to make beads like Gina! (oh boy I wish!) Those are the prettiest floral lentils I've ever seen!!

But for now it's just my simple, kind of plain, not too complicated stuff until I can get a proper work set-up. I can't believe I'm still working with my elbows up in the air and no support! I'm making beads every day now, and my back, neck and shoulders are beginning to hurt. Going out today to find me a new adjustable chair! :wink2:

Here's some of what I've been doing: "no fuss" frits, red, orange, and dk brown swirls, and silvered ivory over transparent cobalt and ivory.

Hi,

The eye candy so early in the morning is rocking already. I do have to say there are several pillows that I have my eye on they are just beautiful. These lentils are just beautiful. I think Gina should just put my name on that set of lentils, perfect in everyway. I just love what everyone is doing with this raku frit....I sure hope I can get my hands on some from Val at the show.

Amaya I can't believe those Squeezed Beads, just Awesome, I don't even think you have had your CBS tool in your beady little hands a week. Your a natural, those beads are beautiful. Have fun.

Beautiful beads this morning. Afraid to post any here as every ones are just beautiful. I will so it isn't something that I will be afraid to do in the future. They are florals and one that is made with vals frits.

Yummmmmyyyy everyone!!! I just pulled my beads outta the kiln and had to show this one!! I finally got the right amount of glass for the x-tra large lentil press!! I forgot what the base was but I rolled it in raku frit and silver green frit then scraped it around with clear and then encased partly. Then topped it off with ink blue trilliams and small orange flowers and leaves. I'm pretty happy with it, hope other's will be also! :D

Amaya, Those are so pretty. I don't know why we don't see more pixi dust around here, it's so shiney.
Juliet nice sets
good going Nancy
Harriet, Those beads are great. I just got some gaffer glass rods, and made a few test beads last night. It's kind of hard to wrap my brain around what to do with it. The colors are spectacular but so different than what I'm used to (and expensive!) That raku looks great on the puruple, pink or what ever it is. You photographed them well.
Catt when I first saw your photo I thought it was a bracelet! I think it works better as a ring!
Good morning Briatha You sure do know how to make some sweet beads
Amy, Those are fantastic
Sadie, I love long beads like that, I wish I could hold them
Gina, the dots look like real gold!
Stefani your doing great with your simple plan. Elegant beads. I'd be so proud if they were mine! Be careful with your body!
Tom those porpus (sp?) are just great
Jeff, I love the sea horses
Gina you are talented
Rose from oz I know how you feel! Your doing great and it is fun to share
Ann, I saw your auction for a day of bead work, really smart idea. That bead is beautiful
Yesterday I spent the whole [email protected] day on the computer trying to make my prsentation more "professional" ha ha. well, each little minuchia step is fun the process I mean. I did my hand at a set of a simple design, sort of Japaneezie thing and I want to repost my fish sculpture from yesterday

Thanks Amorett!! The bead day thing is not my idea by any means!! I had posted a thread on here about doing a bead for a day auction after seeing Kandice and Beadgirl and Lauri had done theirs so that's where I got the idea. I had also seen Rent-a-Tink. I'm not sure which one came up with that original idea but they should get the credit!!

Glad I'm checking this before leaving to torch...some great inspiration in here today...thanks everyone for showing  Here is a focal I did the other day, made with a homemade frit of Moretti colors (with a smidge of raku & silvered ivory), the two pics are of the same bead....just a front view and a back view. 1/2 x 3/4" pressed.

Hi all.... decided I should post a pic today..... and then started cruising this thread..... OMG..... I just can't possibly comment on all of them.... but I especially like the pixie dust and the lentils and the squeezed and the pillows and the focals and the raku and..... well you get the pic.... you guys are great today!
Here's a pic that I got and it really wasn't planned.... just kind of snapped it while checking out the light..... then the batteries went dead and I didn't get the individual pics of the bracelets! But this sort of shows what variety of beads I've been up to this week!!! (excuse all the price and inventory tags!)

thanks for all the great inspiration!
