My second generic fish this week even this year. This one is better. Still have a ways to go to get up to speed. Once I get the body and basic parts down I will work on better fins. 104 soft glass. Then maybe move onto something that looks like a 'real' fish.

Update. I broke the big eyed one below but I like the direction I am going. The one with the white mouth has its good points. The way I approach such work is by making something and deciding what does work and not work for me.

I really like the way the fins look. The first one had a great top fin and the new ones have good fins in my opinion. Are you putting the lines in with a tool, or just putting on layers of glass and not melting them together? The mouth on all of them was very nice. I'm sorry the first one broke....

Yes, the fins are looking really good now.

Just laying layers on for the fins. The tools will come out later when I get a better handle on the fish. I like fish to practice on for the more scuptural works, lets you know how the glass works in the flame. When you get done most people know what they are looking at...lol. Hey, fins, eyes and a fishy mouth = fish!!

Way to go Donna.

Way to go Donna.

Thx. Although you did spell that second one out for me.. I never would have guessed the first one in a million years. But I think I know it now that I got the second one!
