I am in the stone carving business. I supply soft rock, tools, lessons, etc.. If you think you'd like to try it, you should contact me; I'd be glad to help you get started.

Hi Livingstone

I found this thread way back in the sculpture threads and thought maybe we'd bring you out of hiding :D We do have another member that carves stone now in this forum. I think it would be fascinating to try. Do you have a web site? Do you have pics of some of your work you can post? Hope to hear from you.

I have all my tools and my talc stones that I have carted around with me for 4 years. I just lack the 'know how' :(

I say let's get started!!!! Give me about a week to get those photos up and I will start with instructions...by the way is that still something that I have to post in some lesson forum???
