This is part of a large mural project I'm working on. Wall is about 13 feet high and 30 feet long, not sure exactly the size. I copied from an old 1890s or early 1900s photo, sketched with charcoal to get general position of shapes, and blocked in the value/underpainting with brown latex wall paint. Next I will use acrylics to add color. The link takes you to the thread in Decorative Arts forum where you can see the whole project as it progresses.

This is looking really good!! It has a real early 1900s feel to it. Kind of like murals I've seen done in that era in a post office. Love it!!! :clap: Can't wait to see the finish!!!

Wow--looking good! The cow-catcher in the first pic looks like it is coming out of the wall! I love it!

Update on progress, I've added some color as far as I can reach from the floor and low ladder. The floor is a slanted ramp, and I don't like being up on a high ladder on the slanted floor! Scaredy-cat. :D
