Vikki your bead pens are stunning! I adore the black and pink (rubino?) one.

Nothing "beadwise" to share today, but just thought it was cool that two of our members share loved ones birthday's, on MY birthday! I am 35 today!! My thirties have been great! Much better than my twenties!

Morning early birds - such beautiful beads already!!

Vikki - great pen beads, I 'specially like the deep red one second from the right!
Briatha - love the squeezed sets - colors to go with anything!
Harriet - I often hear beadmakers talk about wanting to lick beads - and never really understood it until now! :D
HAPPY BIRTHDAY VANGIE!! (oh, to be 35 again!)

Here are my two for the day...dichro cores, clear, silverfoil, frit, getting to be my usual MO...

Beautiful beads everyone. I wish I could get the raku thing, I am still challenged.

This set is basic colors, but I was very happy with it.

What's everyone sleeping late today or something...I expected to log on to WC and see 2 pages full of goodies! Incredible eye candy nonetheless.

I'm having a good torch day today -- finally getting the Color Shift Opal (aka Raku Jitterbug) to agree with me. I think I'd been overworking it or overheating it and was only getting blues out of it and today I'm working at getting some of the lighter ranges of color out of it. I hope I'll have beads to post tomorrow of them. In the meantime, here's a simple set that turned out nice:

Just transparents topped with gold leaf and encased in clear...basic but pretty.

Lovely beads today everyone. These are from yesterday - had to make myself a bracelet. I call them Steel Blue Raku. Bali silver too.

Lovely beadies today! I'm just loving what everyone is doing with the Raku frit! That stuff is addictive, huh? :wink2:

Here's one from me today. Sure hope I get some time on the torch today. Haven't made anything new in a week. I'm going through torch withdrawals! LOL!

Yummy yummy stuff! RMG, I just love those cheery yellow flowers.

I'm so proud of myself, I made "impossible things" yesterday. The first is one of the longest beads I've ever made...53 mm. (Red gaffer, silver foil, black and raku stringer). The second is a hollow out of Almond Uroboros with silver foil and raku stringer. Last is a set I've had in my head for YEARS...I wanted to do something with grapes and gold and olive. Val's lovely frits have finally made it possible the way I envisioned. White Uroboros base, Tuscany Olive frit, cased with clear, decorated with handpulled goldstone stringer and Cranberry pink frit stringer "grapes."

Ooops the pix loaded in reverse, how strange! Well, read backwards. :p

Kaye,
I'll say it again, I love those red ones. Probably because I like red, and probably because when I work with reds I never make anything that really grabs me. Those just really do it for me! thanks for posting them.

yay Sara !!!!!! I can't wait to go. I wish I had someone to ride with me. But I don't see that happening. Unless you want to meet in Chattanooga and ride along? wink, wink? I just procured a space on Gary's couch. I'm such a bum this week. See you then. And you wouldn't believe the uranium and opal yellow I have. It's sick!!!! Rita Maya

When are you leaving? I'm driving up on Thursday morning to help with the setup. Right now, nothing is packed, nothing is organized, and the apartment is a mess.

My car has no radio, so it will be a quiet trip, unless I sing, which is a very bad idea!
