This is 12x17 on Wallis.

It is from a photo I took this summer. Yay, finally using my own reference pics. It's really fun to paint a place you know.

I am hoping to do about seven pictures from Pt. Reyes and sell them at the Inverness Fair next summer. While I feel as if the Paint Numbers people will be coming to get me soon if I keep on like this, I hope this series will strike a chord with people who love Marin County.

If I uploaded this right there should also be a picture of Limantour Marsh.

As always C&C most appreciated. The colors on my monitor look more garish than they do in real life.

Hi Nori,
First one showed up, the lake painting, now it is not showing and the marsh is. I happened to catch both of them and they are wonderful. Great color!

whoops, now they're both there.

Oh, a funny story about the birds in the first picture...I was too enthusiastic about blending the color here and my finger started to bleed...

Found out you cannot put pastel of any kind over it, so it became birds.

Probably won't pass that story on to any interested buyers...

Lucky you, they fit right in. Gotta blend EASY. I know, I've done it too. :D

No garish colors here! These are wonderfully vibrant. Beautiful work, Nori.

Point Reyes is one of my favorite places and these both portray it well! I love the story about bleeding birds, too :D . You might want to invest in some foam brushes to save your fingers!
