This is an 18 inch square bowl with feet. Combining Bullseye sheet and frit, this took 4 firings the last being slumping. I have always had koi ponds but now I live in the desert and it is a little harder up keep so here is mine in glass. One shot is of the detail.

Yes that piece is for sale, 550.00 and thank you for the nice coments. I haven't seen that much in glass fussing on Wetcanvas so I thought I would introduce a few pieces from time to time. Our studio is mostly glass fussing but we are getting more serious about beads , my wife Carolyn is getting very good and I am so fortunate that I will have a terrific teacher of my own. That is breathing taking. How would you go about making something like this? Is it layed glass? What kind? Are the fish made of glass as well? Thanks for sharing,
Laurie

Before I moved into a new house, I had three 2000 gallon fish ponds full of wonderful water lillies, koi, and fountains.... I do miss them but they were plenty of work. Your "plate" looks wonderful!!!!!

How absolutely gorgeous! I think your asking price is reasonable to say the least!! Needs to be in some gallery - where people can touch it!

You're right - there's not much fused glass on this site - keep it coming!! I'm a stained glass person (turned bead-maker) so I know how ya feel!

Great work!

Wow! That is absolutely amazing! I saw some fusing done at a local glass store over the weekend and it certainly does not even come close to your design. I didn't know that kind of detail was even possible!

Great Job!

Really love that - especially the way the lilypads partially cover the fish.

Okay, now that you're fritting and slumping, make me a koi pond sink!

Thank you for sharing your web sites. It is a pleasure to see a site that breaks away from the norm with graphics, kudos to you. Actually you have given me inspiration for some glass fusing. Eddo

On the next one I wanna see a lili. That is SO neat. I have been just wanting to slump something and would probably end up very boring. Now I am rethinking it. hee hee. That is just to DIE for. Here is some inspiration.
