I was going to do a watercolor but it was actually raining! I had sought out a few sharp gray pastel pencils for the details I was missing and had a set of 48 plus these grays and after I sketched the initial, I realized I had no masking liquid. Such a waste to not make the white truly white, so I just pulled out my pencils and drew. It was a whole different meditation. Much more about the fur than the face.
aobut 9x9" on watercolor paper.

WOW! This is fabulous (as usual)! A different style for you, and I love the effect!
Sometimes rain can be a good thing . . . ;)

You may think it's about the fur but I'm charmed by the eager face. So revealing! Love the sketchy quality, too. Makes it seem as though you just quickly captured the moment.
