Been torching a grand total of four days - here are my troubled but much loved babies. Obviously photography is not one of my talents.

Hey! Those rock...days regardless! Very nice job, and keep up the good work!It takes me about a week to make that many beads...of course, I only get a teeny -tiny bit of time ! Life is so unfair when you're just learning!

Thank you for the kind words - and Alan, I am BLESSED with insomnia!!! Why would anyone want to sleep?- when there are so many things to do??? I paint half the day, beadmake for the past week in late afternoon/evening and workout and clean during the late hours!!!! Luckily all my chidren are bigger now, very independent and self sufficient. ( I guess they have to be.)

Thank you ,Yes I took a beginners class with Ann "Schermo" Baldwin in Virginia Beach in August. It was a private 2 day class and I got the book "passing the flame" and Corrina's stringer video. Schermo is a really good teacher, very organized and she helped me order all the necessaries to get the studio setup . Her beads are AMAZING and she is FUNNY!! Here is a link to her website! ( I think it will work)http://www.schermobeads.com/classes/classes.html

Thank you so much for all the warm fuzzies! I am working hard to be as good as you guys. Everyday I am wowed by the artistry of the members here. As a fulll time painter I am just not as amazed with paintings right now- I keep thinking " Yeah , but what if your brush was about 1200 degrees??? " LOL, No, I still love painting but... Beads! OH BEADS!! THanks, hugs back, Katherine

You are a natural talent. I only hope that I can do half as good when I start making beads.
