When I look at your painting I feel like she has a story to tell...as if she is about to look up at me & say something...something very emotional! I could get lost in this piece!! Amazing!!

She must be very sad. Almost cant hold her tears -- that's how she is looking to me.
But I do love how you painted her!
AMAZING beautifully

thank you Rita:D
I love your monochromatic approach on the skin tones, much more dramatic this way. The pose is great and you got the expression to match it. I totally see a dust bowl image...the 'crop' is spindley and mostly not making it, the ground is cracked and the light clouds in the sky are nothing but an empty promise and her heart is breaking because they're not going to make it through this one. Great job, sorry, couldn't resist the story!

Oh Redsy - FABULOUS!!!
I love every aspect of this - the tight cropping and sharing with us what is really important.... So little included tells so much.
Love the kercheif on her head and that ear and the hair around it!!! Wowww
   Powerful and rich
I love it!!! Barb

Beauitiful portrait. Love the way you handled the southwestern skintones. I was born and raised in Arizona...and your painting brings back memories of the people and cultures in that areas. Congrats on a fine work!
