Just the way I like to do them, up close and personal. This is an 8 x 10 scrap of velour paper. (I hate waste!) Mixed softies and Nupastels. C&C away!

Thanks to all.
But you know, there was a glaring error in my little lady, pointed out by a friend on the animal forum. Makes me wonder where my eyes are sometime.
Her forlock looks like it is growing out of her ear!!
Here is the corrected version.

Your directional lines in the body lead right to that glorious face, love it!

LOL Annette, Those animal people have eyes like "hawks"! :D Your compliment was almost poetic, thanks.

Sue and Redsy, Your observations mean a lot to me, as both of you like the close ups, too.

Kate this is so wonderfully textural in how you apply your pastels. I want to go up and touch the beautiful soft hair.

I'm also drawn to that eye - over and over again. It's well done and just a treat to look at.

Like Kirk - I too enjoy the limited palette.
