Man I love this, I have some old "Vision" comics, well Avengers comics... this is a very cool rendering of my favorite android... should have known we had the same taste, you are too cool buddy...
And I just signed up for Atiera's Art Project, I think I am gonna end up posting every week, cause I will be so tempted to do so...
Here's a shameless plug of my pseudo John Byrne style of another WC member here... have a look

This is cool. I may be an anomalie that likes comic art, but I know diddly squat about the actual characters... I am almost ashamed to say, I don't know who The Vision is. :(
One thing, would it be likely that he would have a glint in his eye? lol I don't really know, but isn't the word glint spiffy?
Oh Bob, You just ooze modesty :D (just kidding!!)
I hope to be doing something for that project, even though I don't usually do drawings of existing characters but someones gotta draw Spidey damn it and I think I'm the only one who will!

First off you should be flogged thusly for not knowing your basic comic lore! Sure you can rant about that wall crawling insect dude, but you fail to know the brilliance of a true character?! Fear not, read yonder link and be enlightened...
Secondly, my modesty knows no bounds... :D
And lastly.... always reply in big words like you are on stage!

kg7er: My wife said the same thing :)LOL I told here that he's one of the good guys so she decided that he looks formidable instead.
Bobby: I've gotta save your comment to show to my son the next time he tells me that I'm no longer cool :D ! I think that this will be the first of many for me too. I even have a couple of original characters that I'll throw in. BTW, loved Spiderma'am!:)
Sherville: Glad that you liked it and that Bobby brought you up to speed on the Android Avenger. I'll remember to post brief bios of the next characters that I render. As for the glint, can't do it! The Vision has no eyeball, instead he has occular receptors embedded in the sockets (Some artists occasionally illuminate the receptors to indicate great surprise or anger. They usually appear as yellow or red light emitting diodes (LED). This is probably wayyyyyy too much info. Sorry. :o ).

...my favorite superhero of all time never gets any press. That would be PlasticMan! I'm 54, and when I was growing up, I wanted more than anything in the world to be PlasticMan. Wow, he could assume any shape he wanted to! A chair. A ladder. A musk ox. The only drawback: he couldn't change colors. So whatever he morphed into was always red, yellow, and black.
It was always great fun spying the red, yellow, and black object in the panels and knowing: Hey, there's PlasticMan! The bad guys are in for a rough trip now.
Finding PlasticMan in the panels was sort of like an early Where's Waldo? game for me.
Okay, enough on that. Probably nobody here's ever heard of him, anyway.

---Bows to the Lord of the Comics---
Forgive me, kind sir, I am simply a peasant girl and know no better.
hehehe thanks digi, for enlightening me about The Visions eye glint-i-ness. I should have known better.
Bobby, Spider man will never be reduced to painting roofs for the elderly, I can't believe you would even insinuate such a thing. Spidey IS a true character, He is more human than most of the others. Oh sure, The Vision may be upset that his wife is now dating Wonder Man (your link really helped me!) but Spidey suffers unique problems. He wonders why the powers happened to him, he struggles to come to grips with his new lot in life. I like that in a comic character :D
Oh and another Legendary character... The Phantom. Does anyone even read Phantom comics anymore??
hehehe KG. I don't actually remember Plastic Man, but I do know he existed (well, not in real life of course, but wouldn't that be cool?!). I just have no clue what he looked like or who the badies were. :D But never fear, I am going to educate myself and look up some web sites about him. (If anyone remembers him)

I remember Plastic Man, can't say I ever read him, always thought he was a knock off of Mr. Fantastic, but seems it was the other way round. Here's a cover I found for ya...
I also remember the Phantom, remind me to tell you what I have hanging inside my closet... no not the skeleton! Anyway here's a site for you, of strips of the Phantom... enjoy
Now if you 2 don't mind, I gotta pack...

Plastic Man is alive and kickin'! He currently an active member of the Justice League of America. Sorry, no Phantom sightings, lately (but I do have a replica of his skull ring!).

Thanks for the Plastic Man image and info. I'd forgotten what he looked like. That was about 45 years ago when I read those comics. I'm an oldster.
