Hi Eric,
Is there a template for having at least 4 images on the homepage?

The reason I ask is because I have a variety of subject matter that I want to draw the viewer of my website to at first glance.

Also, would I be able to load more than 100 images on a website?

Thanks very much.

:)

We have a artspan website(my husband!) We have more than 4 pictures showing up on the first page. I also think that you can buy more pages for your gallery.

Hi Jill,
I didn't express myself very well.
:o

What I meant was that I wondered if each image on the homepage could lead to a different collection of the artist's work.

For example if I had 4 images on the homepage: 1 of trees; another of landscapes; another of still lifes and the 4th of nudes, would clicking on the nude (for example) bring the viewer only to the nudes?

I don't think that you can do that. Though it may be something they would consider as an upgrade in the future.

I must say that they got our site on the the search engines right away.

You are not able to turn each image into a link?

The Artspan website provides you with several ways of featuring a variety of works. First, you can easliy customize the Navigation bar to show different categories of your work. Second, there is a space in the upper right hand
corner of each site which we call the Customiztion field. You can input a table
of contents there which will tell visitor where to find each kind of artwork. You can take a look at Robert Inman site or Tom Stevens for how this would work. Currently, the only page that opens when someone clicks on an image is the image enlargement. However, we are always upgrading the features and benefits of the site and welcome your suggestions.
