I Don`t Know if any of you remember to this little guy, who was the star in an animation series.

It called La linea and the whole animation (3min/series) and the guy was made out of one line.
I think it was french and it was shown on television around the 80`s.

When I picked up these canvases from sale in my local art shop, i Didn`t really know what I was going to do with it, but I liked the odd shape, and I taught I will give it a go.

Then I made MY series of "La Linea."

I hope you like it,
The canvas is 8x20

Sorry for the odd angle, but it is in the hallway which is only 2 foot wide.

LOL! :D I saw the title of your post and that you're from UK and instantly thought of La Linea - the town on "the line" between Spain and Gibraltar and assumed I'd be looking at a painting of "the rock." I like your idea and assume you're aware of the copyright issues if you try to sell such derivitive works.

Sure I`m aware of that.
And you believe or not oddly enough i could have sold at least 5 of this series to friends, who came around my house.

At least I have got them.

I think is such a funny little character that can make any room funny.

I would love to have these on my wall. A really cool idea.
The character was created by an italian animator called Osvaldo Cavandoli.
