This was a little tricky.
I had a commission from one of my online supporters and struggled over the support. I wanted to do it on a bright color but couldn't find a good piece of the right color sueded board.

I chose a very pale beige and started working it up but got sort of unhappy that the whites were getting lost. I think it was a lot more texture in the fur than I usually do in pastel. I started last night and worked late and all afternoon and evening today to get the glow.

She has "seafoam" eyes.... can we see it on the monitor?

I'll trade you my real kitty for this kitty! She's purrfect (cheezy - I know, but that's the mood I'm in).

I think she's absolutely fabulous! Love love love those seafoam eyes...great job!

Those eyes are GORGEOUS! Definitely some Siamese in there somewhere. She's a cutie, but sorry she was so much work! Still, a commission's a commission! Congrats on a great job!

Oh Annette, I have an even better idea. I am going to repair my washing machine!

Thank you all.
Nearly done. Turns out the tabby is silver and black... not really brown as I saw in the photos... with tweak:

I have a memorial picture to do next. I think it may be easier if the kitty is not licking my patron's hand as I paint. Those drat REAL LIFE details... :cat:

DJ, stunning as always! The blue background was a perfect choice to really push the kitty to the front...beige would have been dull. And those eyes are definitely seafoam even on my laptop monitor! Excellent!
