Good morning everybody!

I slept wonderfully which improved my mood a lot. Now I'm enjoying my first cup of tea and the news on the Wearables and in a bit I'll meet a friend for lunch - yummy vegetarian curry. The summer is back, it's warm and nice and sunny...

Wishing you all a lovely and creative day! :)

Good morning andee and all who follow !

Sleep is a good thing, isn't it andee ? ;)

I slept last night like a baby :) Was good, because I had to do quite a bit of cleaning up this morning. It is sunny and not too cold, which rises my mood a bit. I will pick up my bf from the train station after work. Today is going to be a good day for sure :)

Have a wonderful day!

Morning Ladies and all who come after!!

Yep.... sleep works wonders.... I've been happy to be getting a decent night's sleep for the last couple of weeks.... (thanks to the health food store!) And of course that nice weather doesn't hurt either does it Andee!! By the way.... that curry is sounding really good and I just rolled out of the bed!!

Karen.... good luck on the cleaning and have fun with bf!! :wink2: :wink2:

Hi Donna..... enjoy your day.... sounds like our Toledo weather!

Had a furnace replaced yesterday so there were repairmen with drills and hammers and stinky soudering stuff in my studio all day!!! So.... very little got accomplished in the work front. I did pack a few boxes.... but that was discouraging since the offer on the house was so pitiful and we don't have any new prospects right now. Oh well.... my renovations aren't near done yet.... so I have time..... (keep repeating this to yourself Lois!!):D

Have a great day all..... Mark returns from week long trip tomorrow so better get something done!! Off to the studio with me.... making beads!

A quick hello to you all! My computer has kicked the bucket - evidently a virus that Norton didn't catch and now it won't load at all... With the bead show in a month and all my fall classes coming I am so screwed! So I slipped on to my son's computer while he's at school to catch up on what I've missed. But once he's home I'm out of luck.... so I'm not going to be around a whole lot until we get the @$#% fixed....

Have a great day - see you when I can! :(

Good morning, all! Ages and ages since I have been here...I am all moved into my new house (well, all the boxes aren't unpacked yet :p ) but everything is wonderful!

No computer yet, and my office has slammed me with a ban on ANY personal internet usage, so I won't be here too often but just wanted to check in and say hi!

Hi everyone :)

Sorry about the virus Nancy - yuck - I hope you can get it fixed and recover your files. I just don't understand the people who make those nasty things - mean people suck.

Hope you have some peace and quiet today Lois - I remember when they were doing our deck - it took over a month - between the construction noise, the dog barking at them and Luke telling me play by play what they were doing I didn't get a thing done that month. It's enough to drive you crazy.

Well I was up till midnight making my bracelet = I showed you guys a picture of one of it's versions awhile ago - it went through 4 tries and I ended up doing it kind of Kate McKinnon style instead of stephanie style - but not knotted on each base bead... and I didn't use softflex - I just used fireline for the whole thing and so it has a button and loop closure.... it worked out pretty well FINALLY. I'm happy with it anyway.

Well - have house cleaning and have promised Luke a visit to the park today... so will have to run... after I try to figure out what is going on in CA that is - someone stole my necklace yesterday - so I'm happy that it's going to go to a good home now (at least I hope it ends up going to someone who wants it - I guess it could change and someone could still feel "stuck with it", right?) Well, we will see...

Have a playful day all :)

Hello everyone!

I'm sorry about your computer Nancy, I hope you can get it fixed soon.

My good news is that I am getting my studio sorted, and it should be up and running very soon. We changed plans today, and it is going to be in a different room. The plumber and builder are booked. It was going to be in the cellar, but good ventilation was a problem. It was inspired by a side game in the CA where people showed photos of their torch area. I am so excited!!! Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :D :D :D

Pam, I'm sure your necklace is on loads of "to steal" lists. It's gorgeous.

I hope you all have a great day.

Went to the doctor today.. I've been VERY drowsy in the mornings at work, usually after I get there, but I hate the thought of driving while drowsy. He is a sleep specialist. He thinks my sleep patterns are "off". I think I'm burning the candle at both ends. So interesting that this thread started out with talk about sleep!

Sorry about your PC Nancy! They are a pain at times and anymore, if your computer itself has any age on it, the easiest (and cheapest) thing to do is chuck it and buy a new one since there are so many good deals out there. I recommend Dell because they have great support here in the US and I also recommend to bite the bullet and pay for more than 1 year, especially if you buy a decked out one.

Anybody hear how McDuck did on her show? Did I miss that?

Lori - have you had a sleep study done. You could have sleep apnia. Mini wake-ups all night long that you are not aware of but mean you never get into a deep sleep. Sleep apnia also causes your body not to get enough oxy so it can't carry on its normal functions.

Lois - you will get a good offer on your house. I know it is hard to wait but it will happen for you.

Donna - Hi, back at you!

Lynn - I am so excited about your bead studio. Keep us posted on your progress.

Pam - No one will feel stuck with your georgeous necklace. The person that has it really wants it.

Nancy - super bummer about your computer. If you lived closer I'd redo it for you but that would be a long drive just to get your computer fixed.

Karen - Hope you had a great day visiting with your bf. Clean house, bf in town sounds perfect to me.

Andee - Glad you are feeling rested and positive. Sounds like the weather is very nice there. It has been warm and windy here, a coworker and I had a picnic lunch outside today and I really felt restored afterward. The downtown building we ate outside of today had umbrella tables for people to eat outside on and a lovely raised garden around the patio area. This same building has street trees that I just realized the other day are ginko trees. So nice to see a little nature downtown among the highrises.

Hope y'all had a fun and productive day. :)

Barb.. Thank you for your interest. I always feel so "cared for" in this forum, although I know I'm just getting to know y'all.
The doc did order a sleep study today, but not for sleep apnea.. He sees more narcolepsy. but who knows what they'll find. I honestly think it's just a case of poor sleep hygene (i.e. not getting good rest). I'll sure keep you posted!

BTW, I posted all of my belongings (my previous household currently in storage) on the ISLAGA swap shop. The next day (today), my folks found a house they like and are going to talk to the accountant tomorrow. I'm thinkin' I should have posted that stuff a few years ago.

I hope you have a great Friday!
