I was playing with Derwent Aqua tone watercolour sticks with this, has anyone else tried them ?

Now this is what I did to the original with photo shop. I will use this in a photo exhibit this summer and put both next to
each other. Gad get me away from this computer.....I might get the laundry done....

Are watercolor sticks the same as watercolor pencils? I haven't tried any yet. Cool how you posterized it on the computer.

Both are really nice....on the computer enhanced one...I especially like how the background gets less attention with the more painterly look.

I know what you mean with the computer...lol!

good morning: Water color sticks are more like a hard crayon consistency. I found that you can break them off and put the pieces in trays add a little Gum Arabic and a few drops of water. Wa'la brick type colors. I enjoyed using them directly on the paper and this way. A bit tricky to get use to.
