View Full Version : Name my painting please!

This is my latest painting....the original sketch was loosely based on a beautiful figurine I received as a gift. I loved her stance so much I just had to draw her and got so carried away she became a painting!

I'm going to place it on the 'critique forum' ...although she's almost done I want some feedback before I call her 'finished'.

Please suggest a name for this painting.....I can't seem to find one!

Kind regards

Nice work, Vicki! How about "The Journey" for a title. Maybe she is taking whatever shes carrying somewhere far away. Also, please be aware that you must put an icon indicating erotic artwork next to threads containing this type of material.

Aquirius is good choice. What about "The Portress"?
She's like delivering water from one town to another. :D

Hi Guys

Thanks for the suggestions...I like them all.....they're all so much better than anything I could come up with!

I particularly like 'The Portress'.....sounds very exotic!

Kind Regards

Hi Everyone

Thank you all so much.... now I've really got some thinking to do! lol

The painting has had a few changes made to it with the help of a couple of very talented people in the 'structured critique' forum....I'm almost finished and will post the final version of her in the next couple of days.

I'm really proud of this painting.....as I said before she was based on a little figurine about 8" tall and made from a kind of antique brass with black brushed over her....I began with her shape....and the rest is purely from imagination. Now that some tweaking has been done...I'm even more happy with her!

Thanks again for your lovely comments and great suggestions!

What about.... Days End on the Savannah???

Kind regards
