Browsing through our web logs for yesterday, I noticed quite a few of you being "referred" to WC! pages from suspicious sites such as "ads234.com". What this means is that your browser has been "hijacked" by a spyware outfit, and they are capturing your mouseclicks, doing god knows what else on your computer, and then sending you along to the page you clicked on.
Do yourself a favor - if you do not routinely run a spyware scanner on your system, you really should.
Cleaning up spyware off your computer will result in faster load times, and fewer technical "glitches", like pages not loading or appearing properly. Of course, there is the added benefit of stopping these spyware outfits from, well, spying on you!
If you need an overview of spyware, see this page:
http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/s/spyware.html
There are a million different spyware removal tools, some free, some commercial.
Some popular ones:
http://www.lavasoft.de (ad-aware)
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html (Spybot: Search & Destroy)
We highly recommend that every computer user who uses their system for routine web browsing immediately install and run one of these tools.
Cheers.
