finally got started on the Boston Terriers. I have a reference for two out of three. I haven't quite finished the first layer of hard pastel. I also stuck in a photo of where I get to paint while I'm on vacation -windows on all sides but one. It does get hot in the afternoon sun tho! lol

I worked on the eyes & nose of the bottom one. My reference was really blurry on those parts. Do they look right? I added another layer of softer pastel to some of the top one.

Hi Tammy,

No, the nose isn't quite right. It looks flat. I put your pic and drawing in my pic program and enlarged them. You might try that. It's the side facing out that makes it look flat. Also, look at the nostril on the same side. Hope I managed to explain it. If not, let me know and I'll try again.

what a super face :) full of character ...... isnt it strange, seeing your unfinished work there, I always start with the eyes ......... what a great place to work in..... so spacious and airy
